Terms of Service

Sign Here & There, LLC provides notarial services, loan signings, apostille courier services, process serving, and related document support services in accordance with applicable California and federal laws.

Sign Here & There, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, document preparation, or legal interpretation. We may refuse service if a signer appears unwilling or under duress, lacks capacity, presents an incomplete document, requests an unlawful service, or if safety concerns exist.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that documents are complete and ready for signing before the appointment. Sign Here & There, LLC is not responsible for errors in document content, the legal sufficiency of documents, third-party document preparation errors, changes made after signing, or a signer's refusal to execute documents.

California notarial fees are charged in accordance with state law. Additional fees for travel, printing, witnesses, courier services, apostille services, after-hours appointments, and other convenience services will be disclosed before the service is performed. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Travel fees become earned and non-refundable once travel has commenced. Printed document fees become earned and non-refundable once documents have been printed. Appointments canceled with less than two (2) hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification is required for all notarizations. Sign Here & There, LLC reserves the right to refuse service if identification is insufficient, expired, fraudulent, or otherwise fails to satisfy applicable legal requirements.

If witnesses are required, the Client is responsible for providing them unless otherwise arranged in advance. Witnesses provided by Sign Here & There, LLC may be subject to additional fees.

For apostille services, Sign Here & There, LLC acts solely as a courier and does not guarantee issuance or acceptance by any government agency. For process serving assignments, Sign Here & There, LLC does not guarantee successful service upon any individual or entity.

Sign Here & There, LLC maintains reasonable safeguards to protect confidential and personal information obtained in connection with the services provided. Information will be used solely for authorized business purposes and disclosed only as required by law. Our data collection practices, consumer privacy rights, and compliance procedures under California and international law are fully described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of Sign Here & There, LLC arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from services provided shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in California.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the services provided and supersede any prior discussions or understandings. Electronic signatures shall have the same force and effect as original signatures.
